2. Data we process

  • Visiting the website: IP address, date and time, page visited, browser and device details (technical hosting logs).
  • User account: email address, name, phone number, preferred language.
  • Professional profile: name, description, services, hourly rate, experience, postcode and city, service radius and the approximate position derived from them (centre of the postcode area). These details are publicly visible once approved.
  • Requests: job description, service address, phone number, preferred time, status.
  • Reviews: stars and comment on completed jobs.
  • Browser location: only if you choose “Use my location” and agree. It is used only for the search and is not stored in your account.

3. Purposes

We process the data to provide the platform, connect customers with professionals, forward requests, send email notifications, review professional profiles, prevent abuse and keep the platform secure.

4. Sharing with other users

When you send a request, the chosen professional receives your name, phone number, service address and description. In turn, you see the professional’s details. Without a request, customers’ contact details are not visible to others.

5. Service providers (processors)

We use the following service providers, who process data only on our behalf:

  • Supabase (database and login) – data stored in Zurich, Switzerland.
  • Vercel Inc., USA (website hosting) – running on servers in Frankfurt, Germany.
  • Resend, USA (sending emails) – processing in the EU region.
  • Google LLC, USA (Google Maps for displaying the map) – when the map is shown, your IP address and technical details are transmitted to Google.
  • Federal Office of Topography swisstopo, Switzerland (converting postcode and city into coordinates) – only postcode and city are transmitted.

6. Transfers abroad

Some service providers are based in the USA. Transfers are based on the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, or on the standard contractual clauses recognised by the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

7. Cookies

We only use technically necessary cookies: for login (session) and to remember your chosen language. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. Google Maps may use its own cookies or similar technologies when loading the map.

8. Retention

We keep account data as long as your account exists. We keep requests and reviews as long as necessary for processing, for resolving disputes or because of legal obligations. Technical logs are deleted automatically after a short time.

9. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify and delete your data, to receive or transfer your data and to object to processing. Please contact [to be added]. You can also lodge a complaint with the FDPIC (www.edoeb.admin.ch).

10. Data security

Data is transmitted encrypted (HTTPS). Access to data is technically restricted so that each person can only see the data they need for their role. We do not use passwords; login works via one-time links sent by email.

11. Changes

We may update this privacy policy. The version published on this page applies.
